Icelandair Will Fly To 19 US & Canadian Airports This Year With Record Flights

Two new routes will join its network this year, adding to the five that have done so since 2022.

Miami will become the airline’s 19th destination in North America when flights begin in October.

While the market has 3.1% more flights than last year, these carriers have outperformed the average.

The two airlines will now operate jointly from three US airports as part of Southwest Airlines’ first airline partnership.

Greenland has a very limited air network but does have flights to Denmark, Iceland, and seasonally, the United States.

Six North American airports are now expected to see the type.

Only one in every 833 transatlantic flights time travels this year.

The airline will use the aircraft to gradually replace its aging Boeing 757s.
