Delta Air Lines Plans Frequency Increases On 3 Non-Hub Routes For Next Year

The carrier will boost flights before launching a new seasonal route to the Bay Area in the Summer.

This is where the carrier’s regional subsidiary is flying from each of the carrier’s hubs.

An all-Embraer E175 fleet is expected by Spring of next year.

The carriers partner, Alaska Airlines, understandably has the most seating capacity on the route.

Flight data suggested the two aircraft were separated vertically by only 275 feet.

Los Angeles and Las Vegas will host two new Alaska Airlines routes each, with the airline also returning to flying between Portland and Atlanta.

They are set to begin between March and June next year.

The Embraer E175 operates two routes, while the other two are handled by the Airbus A319.

New York LaGuardia (LGA) has become the airline’s third nonstop destination, serviced from Tulsa (TUL).

The carrier will offer up a challenge to Southwest Airlines, which dominates the route.
