US House Members Push DOT To Renew Delta Air Lines-Aeromexico Joint Venture

Congress members are urging not to reduce air travel between the US and Mexico.

The Mexican government has presented its arguments to the DOT about its decision to end the Aeromexico – Delta Air Lines partnership.

While the two airlines planned to appeal the decision to block the merger, JetBlue announced it was ending its merger agreement with Spirit Airlines.

The airline will now offer 77 flights per week between the US and Portugal.

This would allow continued grants and funding for airport redevelopment.
