Cambodian rail freight operator Royal Railway received 60 new flat wagons from China. The wagons are part of an order for a total of 221 wagons, with 35 more expected for the next couple of weeks.
Another 45 wagons will arrive in January 2025. “The remaining wagons will arrive in subsequent months, further strengthening Royal Railway’s capacity to support Cambodia’s growing logistics needs”, the company said.
“These brand-new flat wagons, sourced from a leading Chinese manufacturer, are designed to handle a diverse range of cargo, including containers, heavy machinery, construction materials, and more”, Royal Railway added. The first batch of wagons will be available for immediate use.
