A school in a remote Northern Territory community remains closed more than two weeks after all teachers were evacuated following property damage to its staff accommodation.
Several teenagers – one as young as 14 – have been found carrying knives at one of the Gold Coast’s busiest transport hubs, sparking consternation from police.
Police have confirmed that a woman was pushed onto the tracks and was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, after being rescued by other passengers.
Federal MP Josh Burns has described a vandalism attack on his Melbourne electoral office as “ugly and reckless”, while the Prime Minister has also called out the “serious” incident.
