Coaches replace evening trains again on the Bendigo Line

Bendigo line

Due to V/Line maintenance works, coaches replace evening Bendigo Line trains for the entire journey from Sunday 11 to Wednesday 14 August.

Sunday 11 August

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8.30pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Bendigo for the entire journey.

From Bendigo:
The 9pm service will be replaced by coaches to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 August

From Southern Cross Station:
From 8pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Bendigo/Epsom/Eaglehawk for the entire journey.

From Bendigo/Epsom:
From 7.30pm to last service – coaches replace trains to Southern Cross for the entire journey.

Please allow an additional 60 minutes’ travel time for your journey.

General Information
•    There is limited space for bikes on V/Line trains and coach replacement services.
•    No pets or hot food/liquids allowed on replacement coaches.
•    Customers require a valid myki or paper ticket to travel on all V/Line replacement coach services. Please touch on and touch off your myki to ensure you pay the correct fare.
•    In Melbourne, coaches will arrive and depart from the Southern Cross Station coach terminal located on Spencer Street, opposite Little Bourke Street.

  1. well I hope they can get rid of those mudholes near Woodend and after Kyneton sections, those N sets get bounced badly on area of that route…..so rough, no wonder the fluro tubes blow in time in the carriages and other intermittent faults occur on route due to the wear and tear…..

    As N13 and VN10 is now in the workshop being repaired!
