Yet another PRR bridge with rails still intact.
Unlike the prior bridge, the piers stick way out; it looks like another bridge could have been built along side it.
Hard to imagine a T1 steam locomotive crossing the river here, but they did.
There is one more bridge I’ll attempt to get when the weeds die out in the fall. Near Carnegie PA.
Cars were once stored out there on that line up until around 2017-2018 then it was taken out of service so we didn’t have to inspect it anymore.
That’s part of the Pittsburgh and Ohio central railroad. There is talk of opening that back up sometime to go back to Mingo. Jct.
