4400 Personnel & 140 Aircraft From 20 Countries: Australia’s Epic Pitch Black 24 Exercise Ends

The massive three-week Exercise Pitch Black 24 has wrapped up in northern Australia (where much of the Australian Air Force is based, along with the new Australian MQ-4C Triton UAVs). The military exercise involved some 4,400 personnel and 140 aircraft from 20 nations and has grown to the largest yet since it was founded in 1981. The US Air Force participated with F-22s, F-35s, and other aircraft.
