German aerospace company Lilium has chosen Orlando International Airport to develop its vertiport as its key network hub, as the organization looks to utilize the Floridian airport as an advanced mobility site. Lilium, the developer of the first eVTOL (electrical vertical take off and landing) jet and pioneering regional air mobility, is further supporting Florida House Bill 981, which is to designate the greater Orlando area as the best test site in the state.
