Move over USA breakers, Australia now has “the roo” an innovative new break dance move. It was fantastic to see Australia enter the world stage at the Paris Olympics with our champion “RayGun” aka Rachael Gunn who summoned the courage and the ability to go beyond copying other althletes and create a new style of dance including the now famous move called “The Roo”.
Move over Eddie and Eagle the Olympics now have Dr. Rachael Gunn.
Well done Rachael we are all very proud of you. You deserve a medal for turning up.
If you can’t see that Raygun embodies the true Australian spirit, you’ve missed the point.
She lived her breakdancing dream at the Olympics, gave zero f*cks what anyone thought, had a go.
Now she’s as iconic as Kath Day-Knight & Chris Lilley.
That’s Aussie greatness!
