Betul Tuna, who works for the Victorian Public Service, applauds Hamas

A Victorian public servant who recently won an Australian of the Year award, has described Hamas terrorists as “freedom fighters” (Heros).

Betul Tuna a Turkish Muslim, who works for the state government in child protection, shared the comments on Instagram.

Since when did it become commendable to support Hamas, an Australian listed terrorist organisation? She is promoting and uses speech that calls for the eradication of Jews. Disgusting.

How can someone work in a government “child protection” capacity and openly support a regime that boasts that children are expendable resources to be used in pursuit of headlines?

Should government employees be permitted to make these comments or should they all remain impartial?
