United States and Canada route updates – February 2024

After finishing with the January report, it’s time to move on to the February update, and with it the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The airlines in these markets are bringing many new updates for the upcoming winter and summer, adjusting their operating network for each season.

In addition, some carriers from other regions, such as Europe and Asia, are also expanding services to the United States.

However, as you will see below, companies from the same continent are reducing their network, canceling routes before being launched.

In this edition, we highlight the following developments:

Aeromexico cancels some routes to the United States.

Air Canada announces the addition of a new destination in Mexico.

Air France will inaugurate operations to Phoenix.

American Airlines will launch several routes, including what will be the longest in its network.

BermudAir will add two connections to the United States.

JAL increases frequencies between Tokyo Narita and San Diego.

Porter begins services to San Francisco.

Sun Country and Frontier will start, on the same day, the same route, and will operate the same days a week.

Besides to these highlights, we will also have updates from Allegiant, Ameriflight, Avelo, Breeze, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, United and WestJet.
