City Road has become a real headache for Southbank residents, with constant noise and safety risks from heavy trucks.
If I’m elected, I’m committed to making it safer and quieter by rerouting these vehicles through the Domain and Burnley tunnels.
This isn’t just about reducing noise—it’s about protecting everyone on the road, including truck drivers and even the animals being transported.
The heartbreaking accident in July really drove home how much we need this change. Let’s make City Road safer place for all of us.
