On Wednesday, September 11, the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One (F1) racing team revealed it is increasing its ongoing aviation emission reduction program. The F1 racing team officially announced that it plans to quadruple its aviation emissions reduction by the end of 2025. The majority of this program is accomplished by investing in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) certificates.
