What a joke of a statement from the Herald Sun. The government is building a great deal of housing in and around the new railway stations on the Suburban Rail Loop. For anyone to suggest the suburban rail lopp and housing are diametrically opposed is a stupid concept.
The government is doing the right thing building much housing around the stations as they are constructed and that accomodation will have ready access to the rail network.
A very sensible approach to the housing requirement.
