Tensions have continued between 
Boeing and its mechanics in California, Oregon, and Washington, represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) union and its lodges, as the aircraft manufacturer offered its best and final offer without consulting the unions negotiating committee.
