This trip started in a completely unexpected manner, and was an absolute dumspter fire. Originally, I was supposed to fly from Belo Horizonte to Los Angeles on Azul Linhas Areas and 
United Airlines. But, shortly before boarding was supposed to start, Azul delayed the flight by more than two hours, which meant I would miss my international connection.
