Japan’s Miyazaki Airport Flights Disrupted After WWII Bomb Explosion Leaves 23-foot Crater On Taxiway

An undiscovered bomb from the Second World War exploded at Miyazaki Airport in southwestern Japan on Wednesday, leaving a large crater on a taxiway. Fortunately, no aircraft or personnel were near the bomb when it exploded, but the event did cause more than 80 flights to be canceled.
