Simulator training is probably an airline pilot’s most constant and predictable work activity. Whether a pilot is simply flying the line, upgrading to captain, or changing fleets, simulator training is a requirement that will never go away. It’s often said that pilots pass one simulator training event to get to the next one, which is a year away at the very longest.
