While the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finalized an airworthiness directive (AD) to address a safety concern related to the Boeing 787s captain seat and decompression panels potentially striking the seats headrest, at least three airlines have raised concerns that the directive will, instead, introduce fatigue-related safety risks.
