Air traffic controllers are once again feeling the heat after being held responsible for a near mid-air collision above the skies of Syracuse. It was a performance issue, but the controller caused two commuter planes to come within several hundred feet of each other. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the problem was solved through a standard process but has not released further details.
