Cargo operations have expanded rapidly in a world motivated by online shopping, expedited shipping, and globalization. As a result, many passenger airlines have taken to flying cargo not only in their holds but also operating cargo only-flights. However, some airlines operate a cargo-only model with no scheduled passenger services. This article explores the five US-based airlines that maintain the largest dedicated cargo fleets.
