With its headquarters located in the Vn Phc Diplomatic Corps in the Ba nh district of the Vietnamese capital of Hanoi, VietJet was the first privately owned airline to be established in Vietnam. Founded as a low-cost airline in 2007, VietJet commenced operations on December 25, 2011. Initially, its initial goal was to fly domestically in Vietnam before expanding its footprint to include other Asian destinations.
