A routine food inspection performed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) forced an airline catering facility at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to close its doors last week. The move affected hundreds of flights operated by Delta Air Lines, which utilizes the airport as one of its nine hubs.
