There are calls for Senator Thorpe to resign over her disgraceful comments in Canberra during a speech by King Charles at Parliament House.
The comments from the Senator have been regarded by many as highly offensive.

Senator Lidia Thorpe has now told Sky News she said ‘hairs’ because that’s how she thought ‘heirs’ was pronounced.
“I spoke what I read on the card. My English grammar isn’t as good as others. And I spoke what I read. So I misspoke.
Not convinced with Sen Lia Thorpe….she has shown herself as agitator on the public purse happy to take tax payers $$$ for using the Indigenous community to seed division…..She even support Hamas….I seen her wearing that weird tea cloth online news report of her attending those rowdy Protest for causes out our control at Gaza….He hatred for the country and the people that fund her lifestyle is on the nose!!!
She’s gotta go we don’t such people with such poor standard and merit in roles of great responsibility …the same for other parties!
