The $19 billion transformation of New York John F. Kennedy International Airport aims to reinvigorate the gateway by adding New Terminal One, which is being built on sites now occupied by Terminal 1 and the former Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. On Monday, the airport announced that Philippine Airlines will operate from the new terminal, the first Southeast Asian airline to commit to Terminal One.
