History: 6 Airports American Airlines Used To Serve As Hubs

American Airlines is one of the big four US airlines, operating around 6,800 flights daily to 350 destinations in almost 50 countries. Today, American Airlines (and its subsidiary American Eagle) operates out of 10 hubs around the United States, with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport being the largest. But American Airlines once had six other hubs scattered across the nation and its territories.
