Flying between Australia and South America has never been straightforward, but every now and then, a route is established that does not require a stopover in Dallas, Los Angeles, Auckland or Miami. Yesterday, one of those routes returned after a COVID-induced break, with the resumption of LATAM flights between Sydney and Santiago, Chile.
