In the depths of the pandemic, many airlines all but wrote off the Airbus A380, with many sent off to deserts or dry storage areas in the US, Europe and Australia to an uncertain fate in the sun. This is one of the reasons why the Super Jumbo is so warmly welcomed back when it resumes a route, such as yesterday when an Etihad Airways A380 landed in Paris.
