Japan & Poland Gain Access To US Space Force Defense Satellite Network

US allies Japan and Poland have reached an agreement to gain access to the US military’s Wideband Global Satcom (WGS) satellite network. The move comes as threats in space from countries like China and Russia are increasing, and the space domain is becoming increasingly important. The US is moving to deepen its cooperation in the space realm with its allies. The United States has recently moved to remove red tape – particularly for its closest allies – Australia and the United Kingdom.
