Before 2023, nine United States state capitals did not have scheduled airline service. However, following the news that Salem-Willamette Valley Airport (SLE, also known as McNary Field) is receiving scheduled service for the first time in 16 years, Simple Flying reached out to the remaining eight capital cities to ascertain their plans for air service.
