The Raki, originating from the planet Ozmog in the Vulpecula constellation, are a fascinating and formidable alien race known for their aggressive nature and unique physiology. Though small in stature, their presence has influenced human mythology, particularly the legends surrounding Jinns in the Middle East.

Physical Description

The Raki are small alien humanoid creatures, standing about 4 feet tall, (approximately 1.2 meters) with distinct reptiloid legs and a striking bluish skin tone. Their most notable feature is the set of tentacles protruding from the back of their heads. These tentacles serve as advanced sensory organs, enhancing their perception and interaction with their surroundings. Their skin coloration allows them to blend seamlessly into the blue-hued environments of their home planet, providing them with natural camouflage.

Behavior and Society

Renowned for their warrior culture, the Raki have a society structured around clans, each led by a powerful chieftain. Their society places a high value on martial skill and strategic prowess, with young Raki undergoing rigorous training from an early age. This aggressive and competitive spirit is not only a part of their social interactions but also manifests in their fierce territorial defense on Ozmog.

Historical Interactions with Terra

The Raki have visited Terra (Earth) five times, primarily making contact in the Middle East. These interactions have significantly influenced local folklore, contributing to the creation of the myth of Jinns. Known for their ability to seemingly appear and disappear at will, the Raki were believed to inhabit an unseen parallel dimension, a misconception rooted in their advanced technology and dimensional travel capabilities.

During their visits, the Raki faced challenges with Terra’s environment, as their immune systems struggled to adapt. Their last recorded visit to Earth was in 712 AD, after which they ceased expeditions due to the health issues they encountered. Despite their historical presence, the Raki have since lost interest in Terra, focusing their efforts on other pursuits within the Galactic Federation.

Current Status

As members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, the Raki continue to contribute their martial expertise and knowledge of interdimensional travel to the collective efforts of the Federation. Their decision to distance themselves from Terra stems from their past experiences and a strategic choice to focus on other endeavors within the galaxy.
