Horonga: The Chupacabra
The Horonga, known colloquially as Chupacabra, were imported by the Ciakahrr from a reptilian world as slaves. Hybridized with the Solipsi Ra species, they were adapted to thrive in Terra’s (Earth’s) atmosphere. Their DNA underwent further modification with Naga genetics to enhance their aggression, hunting prowess and bloodlust.
Termed ABE (Anomalous Biological Entities) by humans, they possess reptilian features, including elongated skulls, large red eyes, prominent jaws with fangs and a crest of spines along their backs that can change color. Their bodies are covered in fur, which also changes color to aid in camouflage. With remarkable agility and three-fingered clawed hands and feet, they excel in climbing and running at high speeds.
Physical Characteristics
Horonga lack tails, have small nostril holes, and females possess pointed ears. Their red eyes and distinct skin odor serve as warning signs of their presence. They communicate through screeches and squawks, utilizing a language unique to their species.
Role and Abilities
Bred for their agility and predatory skills, Horonga excel in stealthy movements and swift attacks. Their ability to climb virtually any surface, combined with their speed, makes them formidable hunters. Their claws are adapted for both climbing and combat, allowing them to navigate diverse terrains with ease.
Integration into Earth
Introduced to Earth by the Ciakahrr, the Horonga’s adaptation to Terra’s conditions has made them efficient predators in various environments. Their presence on Earth poses a threat to local ecosystems and human settlements, requiring vigilance and caution in areas where they are known to roam.
