What Does It Take To Become A Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) In The US Air Force?

To become a Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force (USAF), you must first join the service as an enlisted airman. To become an enlisted airman, you must be over 17 and not older than 42. You must have a high school degree or an equivalent General Educational Diploma (GED) and be in good health. You can be disqualified from joining the USAF if you have a severe law violation or a history of drug use or mental problems.
