The United States is a military powerhouse, and much of what makes it so potent is by virtue of being a logistical juggernaut. The US military enjoys an unparalleled ability to deploy seemingly anywhere in the world and sustain operations. It has been called a logistics organization that also fights. Not only does the US have 75% of the world’s tanker fleet and the world’s largest fleet of transport aircraft (although Ukraine and Russia have the larger Antonov An-124 in service), but it is also planning to have unique logistical capabilities no other country possesses.
