Hong Kong International Airport has taken just two years to commission, construct and test its third runway, which is scheduled to commence operations on November 28, 2024. The 3,800-meter (12,470-foot) long Center Runway will increase the airport’s capacity by around 30% and alleviate slot constraints to facilitate more airline growth.
