What V/Line longer distance trains could look like

Here is what the Kiwi’s are running in New Zealand on their long distance trains. These trains are a far cry from the expensive to run rubbish the V/Line Management are providing here in Victoria.

How good would it be to have a service like this to Mildura or Warrnambool with a cafe on board and comfortable seating and business seating for working people who can work whilst on the train.

Sadly Victoria lacks innovation and a sense of pride when it comes to providing services on the rail network. Over the last few years V/Line have been running less trains on time and we now experience many line shutdowns through poor management of the rail network.

The travelling public know and the Management of V/Line how Vlocity trains are not the answer for regional services for travel longer than 2 hours, they are uncomfortable, noisy and very expensive to run and maintain.

Customers on lines such as Bairnsdale and now the emerging disaster of Warrnambool are quickly experiencing how bad the journey is using one of these outdated designed buses on steel wheels.

Instead we have an ageing 25 year old noisy polluting diesel bus on steel wheels.

We need a drastic change of management at V/Line swapped for people who know how to create a product and service to community standards.
