Paradise Mobile taps iBASIS for global reach

Telefónica has announced a US$1.2 billion deal to sell its entire stake in its Argentinian unit to Telecom Argentina, though the transaction could be blocked by government intervention over competition concerns.

Digicel Papua New Guinea hailed efforts in expanding its mobile network to all 21 provinces of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, noting 4G coverage now stands at 80% in the location where in the past, it was rumoured to be exiting.
