Why Is The Boeing B-52 Stratofortress Expected To Have Such A Long Service Life?

The B-52 Stratofortress, a heavy bomber, is expected to remain in service for more than 100 years. The US Air Force announced in their fiscal 2024 budget document the B-52s redesign.
