Kazakhstan, a large Central Asian country, has received the first of two Airbus A400M Atlas tactical/strategic airlifters. These are currently the largest warplanes in production in Europe and are in service with nine countries in Europe and beyond. A400Ms are known for being a versatile aircraft able to be used for a range of missions. It is also famous for the opening scene of the 2015 film Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation where Tom Cruise held onto the side of a flying A400M.
