The private aviation market saw a significant boom after the introduction of LearJet 23 in the 1960s, one of the first private jets. While a few other jets had flown in the 1950s, including the Morane-Saulnier MS.760 Paris, Lockheed JetStar, and the North American Sabreliner, the LearJet 23 became the basis of a light private jet. Following its introduction, a range of private jet designs from several manufacturers emerged. The producers of popular jets from the 1960s and 1970s, such as Dassault.
