Union Pacific Railroad and Genesee & Wyoming Inc. (G&W) today announced plans for G&W’s Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad, Inc. short line railroad to handle local service from Union Pacific’s Eugene Yard in Oregon, enhancing customer service for local businesses and supporting regional economic growth.
