On Tuesday, December 17th, Cessna revealed that its large twin-engine utility aircraft, the Cessna SkyCourier, has achieved type certification from Transport Canada. The new certification awarded by Transport Canada, which is the department in the Government of Canada that regulates aviation policies, means that Cessna can now begin delivering the SkyCourier in Canada. Textron Aviation, the parent company of Cessna, revealed that the first SkyCourier that is scheduled to be delivered is to Air Bravo Corporation. This company, which offers passenger, cargo, and air ambulance services, will soon take delivery of a freighter variant to begin extensive cargo operations throughout North America.
