NTSB: How Poor Planning Led To 2022 Mid-Air Collision At Texas Air Show

The National Transportation Safety Board ( NTSB) has released its findings on the November 2022 Wings Over Dallas air show collision. The findings lay the blame on inadequate planning and it builds on the preliminary report published by the NTSB in November 2022. The mid-air collision of a B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcrobra at the air show claimed six lives. The B-17 was one of the most numerous heavy bombers of WWII (with around 12,700 built) while the P-63 Kingcrobra was a WWII US fighter aircraft.
