Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) is located in Honolulu, the capital city of Hawai'i, on Oahu. The airport, in addition to being a connection point between the mainland United States and other American territories and other nations in the Pacific. In addition to serving as a commercial airport, a military base is attached to the airport. Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, home to US Navy and Air Force operations, is adjacent to the Hawaiian Islands' largest airport.
