In the years following the COVID-19 pandemic, the aviation industry has changed drastically. As with most travel and transport-related industries, the commercial air transport market collapsed during the early years of the pandemic, with passenger demand for both international and domestic travel plummeting. Many doubt whether the commercial aviation industry, which has overwhelmingly been built on the backs of business travelers who comprise the majority of most airlines’ revenues, would ever look the same again even when COVID ended.
