Spotted: China’s 6th Generation Fighter May Just Have Made Its Maiden Flight

Videos have emerged online purportedly showing China’s new sixth generation fighter jet jet flying for the first time with a fifth-generation J-20 Mighty Dragon fighter acting as a chase plane. This would make China the second or first nation in the world to fly a sixth-generation fighter jet ( Northrop Grumman claims the B-21 Raider is a sixth-generation combat aircraft even though it is a strategic bomber). Whereas countries like the US, UK, and Russia tend to be reasonably open about their next-generation fighter jet programs, China is incredibly secretive and is often missing from much of the conversation because so little is known.
