Russian airlines are currently finding themselves in the middle of a challenging paradox, as they continue to face plane shortages due to Western sanctions against the country while, at the same time, passenger demand rises. Among the nation’s largest operators of Western aircraft is flag carrier Aeroflot, which operates both narrowbody and widebody twinjets from the stables of both Airbus and Boeing.
