More often than not, short-haul flights are operated by narrowbody aircraft, with the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft families being the most common around the world. However, occasionally, an airline will deploy one of its widebody aircraft on a short route. This may be for a variety of reasons, for example, to account for operational needs or to accommodate high demand for air travel.
