Just 4% of the world’s flights are long-haul. In the first half of 2025, the Boeing 787—the -8, -9, and -10 variants—will operate a quarter of the world’s long-haul services. The 787-9 is the second most-used equipment, behind only the 777-300ER. Those findings are based on examining every planned service using Cirium Diio and OAG data.
